Bilsington Cricket Club has a long and proud history
Founded in 1895, we were founders members of the Kent Village league in 1973 and have played in every league season since. In the league's inaugural season we were winners of Division 2 (only 2 divisions that year). In 1995 we were winners of Division 4. Recently we have suffered relegation to division 4 in 2006 and to division 5 in 2013. We begin the 2018 season in division 5.
We have a unique ground, that is used with the kind permission of Bill Maylam, that has stunning views over the Romney Marsh, though if you are standing at either long on or long off at The Pub End, you can't see the batsmen let alone the views!
Our ground is easy to locate, just head for the obelisk, a monument in honour of Sir William Richard Cosway, a local landowner who died in a coaching accident.
We are proud to be sponsored for the 2017 season by our after game hosts, The White Horse
